NoBounch
Email verifier

Check if an email address is valid, before you send

Paste an address and NoBounch tells you in seconds whether it is valid, invalid, catch-all or disposable. No email is sent, so the person you check never knows.

Syntax and typo check

Catches broken addresses like missing @ signs and common typos such as gmial.com, with a suggested fix.

Domain and MX records

Confirms the domain exists and has mail servers that can actually receive email.

Mailbox check

Talks to the receiving mail server to confirm the mailbox exists, without delivering any message.

Catch-all detection

Flags accept-all domains that say yes to every address, so you know which results to treat with care.

Disposable and role addresses

Spots throwaway inboxes and shared addresses like info@ or sales@ that often hurt engagement.

Free provider flag

Shows whether an address is on Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo and other free providers or on a company domain.

What an email verifier actually checks

An email address can look perfectly normal and still bounce. The domain may have expired, the person may have left the company, or someone may have typed gmial.com instead of gmail.com. An email verifier runs a series of checks so you find these problems before your email service provider does.

  1. Format: is the address written correctly, with one @ sign and a real domain ending?
  2. Domain: does the domain exist and publish MX records for receiving mail?
  3. Mailbox: does the mail server confirm that this exact mailbox exists?
  4. Risk signals: is it a catch-all domain, a disposable inbox or a role address?

Why verify an email address before sending?

Every bounced email tells inbox providers that you might be sending to a bought or outdated list. Too many bounces and Gmail, Outlook and Yahoo start sending your messages to spam, even to the people who want them. Checking addresses first keeps your bounce rate low and your sender reputation clean.

Verification is also useful outside of marketing: check a lead before a sales team calls, confirm a customer typed their address correctly at checkout, or block fake signups on your website with the email verification API.

Questions people ask

Is this email verifier free?

Every new account gets free credits after confirming its email address, so you can test NoBounch without paying. After that, one credit checks one email and credits never expire.

Does checking an email send a message to that person?

No. NoBounch asks the receiving mail server whether the mailbox exists and then disconnects before any message is sent.

What do catch-all and disposable results mean?

Catch-all means the domain accepts every address, so the mailbox cannot be confirmed and sending may bounce. Disposable means a temporary, throwaway inbox; remove it from marketing lists. Send to catch-all addresses only if you know the contact, and watch your bounce rate.

How accurate is email verification?

Valid and invalid results come straight from the receiving mail server. A few servers hide the answer (catch-all or greylisting); those are marked catch-all or unknown, and unknown checks are refunded.

Can I check many emails at once?

Yes. Upload a CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file on the bulk page and download a clean list when it is done.
