Email list cleaning

Clean your email list and stop bounces for good

Remove invalid and disposable addresses, and review catch-all ones, before they hurt your sender reputation. Keep a healthy list that reaches the inbox, campaign after campaign.

Remove hard bounces

Find addresses that no longer exist before your email platform flags your account for a high bounce rate.

Spot contacts to review

Catch-all and disposable addresses are separate results, and role addresses are flagged, so you can decide what to keep.

Fix typos

Common domain typos are detected with a suggested correction, so you can save real contacts.

No subscription

Pay once for credits and clean lists whenever you need. Credits never expire.

Works with any platform

Export from Mailchimp, Brevo, HubSpot, Klaviyo or any CRM as CSV or Excel, clean it, and import it back.

Private and secure

Files are private and deleted automatically. We never contact the people on your list.

What is email list cleaning?

Email list cleaning (also called list hygiene or list scrubbing) means removing addresses that will bounce, never engage or put your sender reputation at risk. The core of it is bulk email verification: checking every address with its mail server to see whether the mailbox still exists.

What gets removed

  • Invalid addresses: the mailbox or domain does not exist. These cause hard bounces.
  • Disposable inboxes: temporary addresses that disappear after a few hours or days.
  • Typos: addresses with misspelled domains that can be fixed or removed.
  • Duplicates: the same address listed more than once.
  • Catch-all addresses to review: domains that accept every address, so the mailbox cannot be confirmed.
  • Disposable addresses: temporary, throwaway inboxes that do not belong on a marketing list.
  • Role addresses: shared inboxes such as info@ or admin@, flagged so you can decide whether to keep them.

A simple list cleaning routine

  1. Export your list from your email platform as a CSV or Excel (.xlsx) file.
  2. Upload it to NoBounch and wait for the email that says it is done.
  3. Download the valid file for sending and keep the catch-all file for a smaller, careful send.
  4. Unsubscribe or delete the invalid contacts in your email platform.
  5. Add real-time checks to your signup form with the API so bad addresses never get in again.

Questions people ask

How often should I clean my email list?

Clean the full list at least every three months, and always before a large campaign or when you import a list you have not mailed in a while.

What is a good email bounce rate?

Aim to keep bounces under 2 percent of sent emails. Many email platforms review or pause accounts that go much higher.

Will cleaning my list remove real customers?

Invalid results are mailboxes that do not exist, so removing them does not lose anyone. Catch-all and disposable results are kept in their own files so you can review them.

Can I clean a list from Mailchimp or HubSpot?

Yes. Export your audience as a CSV or Excel file, upload it to NoBounch, then import the valid file back or mark the invalid contacts as unsubscribed.
